Thai massage is an ancient healing art form from Thailand that incorporates elements of yoga and acupressure based on the energy balance theory of health and healing. The focus of the work is on is two-fold; stretching and compression. The therapist uses palming and thumbing along major energy pathways, releasing blockages of energy, increases energy flow, and helping to restore balance – the key to good health. At the same time yogic stretching is applied to the entire body.
